Come meet Dean Patrick T. Mather and engineering alumni, parents and friends of the College of Engineering on Thursday evening, Nov. 3, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Hilton Parsippany in Parsippany, N.J. At the event, you will hear Dean Mather’s perspectives on how engineering students at Bucknell University must be educated to not only meet the future’s technological demands, but also be innovative and thoughtful leaders in society. Bucknell Engineering graduates enter the workforce to solve technological problems in complex and often unfamiliar contexts. Preparation to meet these challenges requires more than engineering knowledge — it also requires our students to be well versed in the social sciences and humanities.
